GOAL:

To increase awareness of and participation in events and promote educational benefits available through the chapter.

OBJECTIVES:

• Coordinate press items for use in quarterly newsletter with CED.

• Solicit educational articles pertinent to the industry from members of the Board and/or membership for chapter publications.

• Develop and maintain chronological history of chapter publications on website.

• Maximize use of chapter website.

• Publish the annual committee report.

• Collaborate and coordinate with CED and other communities.

Short-term objectives:

• Develop sub-committees and ad-hoc committees as necessary.

• Identify and define all recurring publications originating from chapter.

• Develop systems and templates for each publication to allow for timely dissemination and ease of use for future committee members and CED.

• Standardize formats of various publications to make each publication easily recognizable.

Long-term objectives:

• Improve overall quality of all publications.

• Expand committee to parts of the state beyond the Triangle.

COMMITTEE STRUCTURE:

Chair or liaison from Board of Directors

Core members supported by ad-hoc and sub-committees as necessary.

TERM OF SERVICE:

Two years

MEETING FREQUENCY:

Bi-monthly, scheduled at close of each meeting.
